Needs Review means the patient has logged time this month but is still short of 20 minutes.
The Needs Review card at the top of your Patients page counts patients whose logged interaction time this month is between 10 and 19 minutes. They are inside the window where a little more attention reaches the 20-minute mark. Click the card to filter the list to exactly these patients:
The flag clears on its own once the month's logged time reaches 20 minutes. Anything you do in SaRA that logs time counts toward it:
Review the patient's plan of care.
Write a note for the patient.
Open the patient's messages and read or reply. Keeping the conversation open for about 10 seconds logs the interaction.
Why it matters
A patient at 10 to 19 minutes is close to the 20-minute threshold for the RTM treatment-management codes, so finishing the review is both good care and good billing hygiene. Patients under 10 minutes are not flagged: they are still early in the month.
Known limitation
The Needs Review filter tab may occasionally show patients that don't belong in the list (or miss some that do). If the filter looks wrong, hard-refresh the page; if it stays wrong, send support a screenshot.
Still seeing the flag after logging time?
Wait a minute and refresh. If the flag persists once the month's total is past 20 minutes, contact support through the in-app chat with the patient and the time you did the review.
