A short guide for practice owners: what the Invoices page shows, where every number comes from, how to pay, and how to tell us when something looks off.
1 · What the page answers
Sign in at app.sarahealth.com and choose Invoices from the left menu. The page opens with what your practice earned through SaRA this period, then answers three questions: did our claims go out, are we getting paid, and what are we owed.
Every dollar figure carries a small label saying where the number comes from:
Payer verified — from your insurance payers' own payment reports.
Clearinghouse status — where the claim sits in processing, with the amount estimated from your rates.
Self reported — based on the care activity recorded in SaRA.
We would rather show you an honest estimate with a label than a confident number we might have to correct later.
2 · When something is waiting on you
If care is ready for your sign-off, one line at the top of the page says how many opportunities are waiting and what they are worth. Sign off in Billing takes you straight to the Ready to Bill queue on the Billing page.
3 · Where your billing stands
Four bars show the month from billable opportunities to reconciled payments. Each bar is what made it to that stage, so the number shrinks as care moves through. Hover any color to see what it means: amber is waiting on you, red is blocked (something missing, such as insurance details or consent), blue is with the payer, green is reconciled.
4 · Your invoices
Upcoming invoice shows what SaRA will bill for the current period, by billing code: units, your rate, your cost, and the insurance revenue that care generated. The lines add up to the estimated total, so you can check the math yourself.
Past Invoices lists every invoice with the month it covers, when it was issued, when it is due, and whether it is paid. Pay Now opens the payment page for that invoice; the PDF is there for your records or your accountant.
Something looks off? Every invoice has that button. Tell us what does not match, optionally name the billing code, and your note goes straight to our billing team with the invoice attached. Nothing is charged while it is being looked at.
The same page is where you send us your remittances: see Sending your remits or payment report to SaRA from the Invoices page.
5 · Paying, and payment methods
Invoices are issued after the month closes and are due 30 days later. You pay each invoice in one click from Past Invoices with the payment method on file. Bank transfer (ACH) is the option we recommend because it has lower processing fees; cards work too.
Payment Methods in the right rail is where you add or change a bank account or card and set the default. Auto-pay is off unless you turn it on: while Invoices is in beta, nothing is charged without your say. When you turn it on, your default method is charged on the due date, and you can turn it off any time.
Only practice owners see the Invoices page. Providers and staff do not.
6 · Quick answers
I got an invoice email but I want to see the breakdown.
Open the Invoices page: the current month's breakdown is under Upcoming invoice, and each past invoice has its PDF.
The units on a line look wrong.
Use Something looks off? on that invoice and name the billing code. We check it against your care records and reply on the invoice email thread.
I do not see an Invoices page.
The page is being turned on gradually. If you do not see it yet, you will soon.
Stuck? We're easy to reach
