Your sandbox is a copy of your practice with made-up patients. Everything works the way it does in your real practice, and nothing you do there reaches a patient, a bill or a report.
What the sandbox is
It is your practice, cloned: the same pages, the same clicks, the same programs, with 20 made-up patients at every stage from newly enrolled to discharged. A teal bar at the top of every page tells you that you are in the sandbox, and every patient there carries a Made up tag.
How to get in
Open the three-dot menu at the bottom of the menu on the left (top right on a phone).
Choose Try it in the sandbox.
The first time, SaRA builds your sandbox while you watch a short Setting up your sandbox moment. After that, it opens at once.
What you will find
20 made-up patients at every stage: some who replied this morning, some who went quiet, one who is ready to bill, some already discharged.
Made-up patients text back. Send one a message and a reply arrives in a moment, the way a real patient's would.
Your teammates share the same sandbox, so you can practise together and see each other's work.
The teal bar has Scenarios, Pretend time passed, Reset and Exit.
Things to try
Open Scenarios on the teal bar for three guided ones, each a few clicks:
A patient stopped replying. Open a quiet patient and send them a message; watch the reply come in.
A patient is ready to bill. Go to the Billing page and sign the item that is ready.
Discharge a patient. Deactivate a patient and stop their follow-up texts.
Want to see what a week does? Open Pretend time passed on the teal bar and choose how many days. The sandbox moves everyone forward: check-ins happen, replies land, and billing items appear when a patient has done enough. The bar shows "Day 3 of 7" while it runs and the pretend date when it is done.
Getting out
Click Exit on the teal bar. You are back in your real practice exactly as you left it. If you walk away, the sandbox closes on its own after two quiet hours, and your real practice is untouched either way.
Reset
Reset on the teal bar rebuilds the sandbox from scratch with a fresh set of made-up patients. Because your teammates share it, their sandbox work goes too; the confirmation names anyone else who is in it right now.
What the sandbox never does
Nothing leaves the sandbox.
No texts go to a phone, no emails are sent, no bills or claims are created, no report or count includes it, and nothing from it appears in your real patient list. Made-up patients are not real people, and the sandbox never holds a real patient's information.

The in-app chat works inside the sandbox too, so message us from there if anything looks wrong. If a screenshot shows the teal bar or the Made up tag, what you are looking at happened in the sandbox and nothing was sent.
