Printable: Billing, handled. What SaRA's in-house billing does for your clinic

A one-page summary for clinics where SaRA bills the RTM claims: what we handle, what stays with you, and how the money flows.

Written by Valeed Malik

The whole billing arrangement, on one page.

If SaRA files your RTM claims for you, this handout is the one-page version of how it works. Print it for your biller, your practice manager, or anyone who asks "so what do we still have to do?"

Where to get it: sign in to SaRA, open Documents, and download it from the Resources section. It is only available inside your account.

What SaRA handles

  • We prepare and submit your RTM claims through our clearinghouse. You never enter charges for monitoring codes, and you never file these claims yourself.

  • We prepare your claim-enrollment paperwork for the payers that need a one-time enrollment first (Medicare, Tricare, some Medicaid plans), and we file it with the payer once you return it signed.

  • We track submissions and follow up with payers on pending enrollments and claims.

  • We send your weekly billing report by email so you always know what went out.

What stays with your clinic

  • Sign your notes. A visit can't bill until its note is signed. This is the most common holdup.

  • Sign off on the Billing page. Each ready item appears in SaRA with the codes and justification text prepared. Review it and sign off; that is what releases it to us.

  • Find and return enrollment forms. When one is ready it appears under Manage > Documents. Print it, sign it by hand, and scan it back to us. Most payers want a wet signature on their own form.

  • Keep insurance details current for your patients so claims go to the right payer the first time.

How the money flows

Payers reimburse your clinic directly, exactly like the rest of your claims. SaRA's service invoice arrives separately by email once a month, with the charges grouped by CPT code, and you can view and pay it from the Billing page inside SaRA.

One thing we do not set up: remit enrollment (ERA/EFT), which controls how payment and remit detail come back to you. That stays with your practice or your clearinghouse.

Billing questions

Reply to your weekly billing report email, or message us in the in-app chat. A person from the billing team picks it up.
